1. What is Movavi Online?
Movavi Online is a free online web service that lets you download videos from video-sharing sites and save them to your iPhone, iPod, cellphone, and popular video formats: complete list. With Movavi Online, you can also convert videos already on your computer. There’s no charge for the service, and you don’t need to download any software. Best of all - we don’t cover your screen with annoying ads!
2. What does 'Merge all videos into one large movie' mean?
We are continually developing additional features to extend the functionality of our service and make Movavi Online even more valuable for our users. This unique feature - only available through Movavi Online - lets you select multiple downloaded videos and merge them into one long movie - just imagine the possibilities!
3. Why do I need to give you my email address? Is it safe?
We take our customers' privacy seriously, and your email address will be kept confidential. We ask for your email address so that, if your video conversions will take a while, or our server is busy, we can email you the links to download the conversions when they are done. That way, you can get on with other things on your computer - or even turn it off - and don't need to wait for your files to be converted. This is particularly useful if you have a slow connection, or if you want to convert a video that's on someone else’s computer.
4. Does Movavi Online work with Mac and Linux?
Yes. Because Movavi Online is a web-based service, you can access it using browsers that run on Mac and Linux as well as Windows.
Sharing videos.
1. How do I share a video with my friends?
You can share a video with any Movavi Online Converter registered user. Select the video file and press the 'Share' button. Now you can choose who can view the shared video: all registered users, specified users or none. Enter email addresses and add a personal message if you'd like, then click the 'Save' button. They will receive an email with a link to your video.
2. I got a link to video file but can’t view it. Why?
You can view the shared video only if you are a registered user. Please, sign up for free Movavi Online Converter account via the following link sign up.
3. What to do if the format of video is unsupported?
You can share your video files in any format. Movavi Online Converter will automatically convert it into the browser’s supported format.
4. I added video but convert/share/download buttons are disabled. Why?
Your video can be already in converting/downloading queue. Wait till the end of the process.
You can share video only in case you are a Silver or a Gold user. Please upgrade your account here.
5. Why can't I see some people's videos?
Some users decided to make their videos private.

1. Is video storage time limited?
For free account videos are stored for 7 days. For Silver or Gold account videos will be stored forever. You can upgrade your free account here.
2. What is the maximum video file size and length?
Maximum file size depends on the type of your account. Please check such information here. Video file length is unlimited!
3. Can I download converted video?
Yes, you can. To download a single video file right-click on the download icon and select Save target as option. To download several video files, tick the corresponding files and press Download button.
4. Do my operations with video logged? Where can I see it?
You can see all operations performed with your video at History tab. Either you upload any video or video conversion has been started/finished – all such activities will be stored.
Downloading and converting videos from video-sharing sites.
1. Can I use Movavi Online to download videos?
Sure you can! Plus, you can save the video to your iPod, cellphone or any other mobile device! To do this, simply copy the URL of the video you liked to Movavi Online and select the required video format.
2. What video sharing website are supported by Movavi Online?
The list of supported sites is continually growing. as of today, you can convert and save videos from the following popular video-sharing websites:

3. Are there any limits on the size of downloaded FREE videos?
You cannot download and convert videos longer than 100 MB for FREE with Movavi Online; longer files will cause delays for other customers. You can always upgrade your account to convert bigger files.
4. Is it possible to use the 'Merge' feature while downloading and converting files from video sharing sites?
Yes, this unique option, only available at Movavi Online, works regardless of the video storage.

Supported formats and file size.
1. What video formats does Movavi Online support?
Input Formats: AVI (DivX, XVid), MPEG (1, 2, 4), MP4, 3gp, 3gp2, WMV, MOV (QT).
Output Formats: iPhone video (mp.4) New!, AVI ( XVid), MPEG-4 , MPEG-2 (DVD Quality, PAL), MPEG-2 (DVD Quality, NTSC), iPod video, iPod 5G video, PSP video, 3gp, 3gp2, MPEG-4 (.mov), Flash (.flv)
2. How many files can I convert in one session?
Right now, you can convert up to five files (enter up to five URLs) in one conversion session.
3. What's the maximum size file I can upload?
You can upload up to 100MB of data spread across the five files allowed in any one conversion session.
4. When I try to upload a file for conversion, I get the message “please open only media files”.
This message will usually appear if you try to upload a file in an input format not currently supported by Movavi Online
5. Can I convert files in different formats in the same session?
Yes, the five files you can upload during any one session can be in as many as five different formats. Just make sure those formats are supported for input into Movavi Online.
6. I’m having problems uploading large files.
The upload limit of Movavi Online Video Converter is 100MB, so that’s the first item to check. If your file uploads are within the limit, it may be that the site is busy; depending on the number of people accessing the site, it’s possible you will experience slight delays in uploading and downloading files. If you experience unacceptable site response times, please report the problem to us.
7. Can I convert one file into multiple formats?
You can convert your video file to different output formats, but not in the same session. On completion of one session, you should return to the main window and repeat the upload process to convert the file to another format.
Uploading and converting videos stored on your computer.
1.I converted a file but didn't receive an email link to it. What happened?
When the site is busy and many people are uploading videos, it may take up to 72 hours to process your file. If you haven't received an email within 48 hours of uploading, there may have been a server failure. In this situation, it’s probably best to start the conversion process over. If you still do not receive an email, please report the situation to our support team.
2. When I tried to retrieve my converted file, I received the message “Your files have already been deleted.” What happened?
Because video files are so big and our server capacity is limited for this free service, we can only store files for 72 hours after we send the email link. Please download your files promptly or plan to re-run the conversion at a time when you will be available to download your files promptly.
3. I downloaded my converted file, but I can’t open it. What can I do?
First, make sure you have an appropriate video player and all the necessary video codecs installed. You can download any missing video codecs to your system from http://www.free-codecs.com/K_Lite_Codec_Pack_download.html If, after installation of the appropriate video players and codecs, you are still unable to open the file, please contact our support team and send them the file for further analysis.
4. I deleted a file that I converted with Movavi Online. Can I retrieve it?
If it’s still less than 72 hours since you received your confirmation email, you can redownload the file using the link in the confirmation email. After the 72 hours are up, your file will be deleted, so you will need to repeat the conversion process.
5. How many times can I download my converted file?
You can download your converted file as many times as you like within the 72 hour period from the time you received the email. Once the 72 hour period has passed, your file will be deleted from our server.
6. I received a link to download a file from online.movavi.com, but I know nothing about this.
Someone may have requested a conversion for your email address. In any case, you are the only person to whom the link was sent and so nobody except you will be able to retrieve that video. The file will be stored on our server for 72 hours and then deleted.
Integrating Movavi Online into your Web browser
1. How do I use the integrated Movavi Online widget?
When you are watching a movie on a video sharing website you can click the Movavi Online button to convert and save the video you are watching.
2. I never added widgets to any browsers. Where will i see my added Movavi Online widget?
Internet Explorer On the main menu, click View -> Toolbars and select Links. Then right click on Movavi Online link and choose "Add to Favorites". Answer "Yes" to any security alert, and save the link to the Links folder. That's all there is to it. Now Movavi Online will always show up on the Links bar.
Opera On the main menu, click View -> Toolbars and select Personal Bar. Then drag the Movavi Online link to the Link area. That's all there is to it. Now Movavi Online will always show up on your Personal Bar.
FireFox On the main menu, click View -> Toolbars and select Bookmarks Toolbar. Then drag the Movavi Online link to Bookmark Toolbar. That's all there is to it. Now Movavi Online will always show up on the Bookmark Toolbar.
